How long does verification take?
Your NPI number and an active state license are enough for the standard catalog, and verification typically clears in 24–48 hours. Some product categories require additional credentials (for example, DEA registration for controlled substances) — the platform tells you exactly what's needed before you apply.
Who can join MedGrid?
Licensed clinicians — MD, DO, NP, and PA. Every account is gated by NPI verification before any catalog, pricing, or ordering unlocks. Physicians without a personal DEA can still join; restricted categories simply stay gated until the required credentials are on file.
Do I need an NPI?
Yes — MedGrid is NPI-gated. Your credentials gate what you can see and order. Requirements differ across US federal rules, state-by-state regulation, and international jurisdictions, so MedGrid surfaces the requirements that apply to your license, your state, and each product category.
